Lillian R. Thornberry, nee Schultz, 85, of Highland, IL died April 16, 2009 at her daughter's residence. She was born in Mandan, North Dakota, June 18, 1923 to Roy and Eva (Meyer) Schultz and they preceded her in death.
Survived by: one son, one daughter - Ken Deis, Berryville, VA; Debra Ledford, Highland, IL; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother - James (Sharon) Schultz - Bay Area, CA.
She loved playing Bingo, Cards and Going fishing and loved to cook.
Visitation: Sunday, April 19, 2009 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
Memorial Service Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 12 Noon at Meridith Funeral Home, P.C. Highland, IL with Fr. Charles A. Edwards, Pastor, St. Paul Church, Highland, IL officiating. Interment at a later date.
Memorials may be offered to TIP Hospice, 200 Center Drive, Alton, IL.
