      Leonard E. Stoecker, age 90 of Albion IL joined God in Heaven on Friday October 9, 2020. He was born October 2, 1930, to the late Louis and Elsie Stoecker.
      Leonard was a true Mason through and through and belonged to many of the Masonic organizations. He managed and then owned Mt. Carmel Apparel Co. (Leonard Industries) where he and his wife worked together. As he retired, he kept busy doing things he loved: gardening, woodworking and mowing his yard. Leonard was retired from the military after 24 years. He was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Albion. He took great joy in anything he could do for the church and other things around the city of Albion.
      He is survived by Diana, his loving wife of 48 years. Surviving children are: Teri Hix, Lenny Stoecker, Robert Stoecker, Jana Hester and one step-son Richard Vaughan. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.
      He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John Stoecker, a sister Mildred Pollack and a daughter who loved him so much, Cathy Elder.
      A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday October 14, 2020 at Graceland Cemetery in Albion. At Diana’s request attendees must wear a mask. Military rites and a Masonic service will be conducted. Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you are not able to stand for any length of time.
      Memorials may be made to Hermitage Lodge #356 and envelopes will be available at the service.
