Leaocia B. Rhein, nee Monken, 100, of Lebanon, formerly of Trenton in Madison County, IL died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare Center, Lebanon. She was born November 19, 1906 South of Summerfield, IL to Arnold and Lola (Howard) Monken and they are deceased. She married Erwin Rhein who died January 11, 1980.
She is survived by 3 nieces, Arline Marcotte, Carbondale, IL; Sandra (Scott) Thatcher, Palm Beach Garden, FL; Bonnie (Robert) Hardy, Lebanon, IL; 6 great nieces and nephews, Dana Marcotte, Cynthia (Mike) Collins, Cherie (Tim) Richmond, Scott H. Thatcher; Brian (Lisa) Hardy; and Travis (Cassandra) Hardy, and several great, great, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 sister - Irene Seibert; 1 brother-in-law - William Rhein, 1 sister-in-law, Elma Rhein.
She was a homemaker and belonged to the Emerald Mound Grange, Home Extension and she liked to play bingo.
Visitation is Monday, January 29th from 9:00 - 10:15 AM at the Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.
Funeral service, Monday, Jan. 29th @ 10:15 a.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Don Wagner, Pastor of St. Paul UCC officiating.
Burial in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL
