Larry Dean Smith, 71 of Keenes, Illinois passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
Larry was born May 16, 1949 at Johnsonville, Illinois to Earl and Dorothy (Henson) Smith.
Larry was a general laborer he had worked at George Smith Ag Service for many years. Larry’s hobbies included fishing, going to watch the local basketball games. One of the things he enjoyed most was taking his nephews fishing to watch their reaction when they would catch a fish.
Larry is survived by one sister Cathy Smith of Fairfield Illinois; six brothers Kelly Smith of Fairfield, Illinois, George (Doris) Smith of Keenes, Illinois , Bill (Barb) Smith of Manassas, Virginia, Johnnie Smith of Fairfield, Illinois, Carroll Smith of Johnsonville, Illinois, and Earl Junior Smith of Johnsonville, Illinois; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters Violet and Martha Ann.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be given to Johnsonville Ruritan Club.
