Kenneth Ray Jackson, 76, of Albion, Illinois passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Oakview in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
He was born August 12, 1947 in Carmi, Illinois to Carvell and Kathleen (Wright) Jackson.
Kenneth was a motor rewinder and worked in manufacturing for over 55 years. He was a member and an elder at the Union North Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fairfield, Illinois.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Lois Jackson; children, Stephanie (Sam) Toney, Melissa Haycraft, Misty Pierce, Kenneth Jr. (Lea) Jackson, Angela (Scott) Hunter, and Dustin (Carrie) Jackson. He leaves a legacy of 21 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Kenneth is also survived by 2 nieces Jamaira and Kaylei; and 2 nephews, Rodelle and Logan; a brother Brian Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Lisa Dixon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bobbi Jean Tomblinson; and a son, Douglas Ray Jackson.
A Celebration of Life for Kenneth Ray Jackson will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union North Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fairfield, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to help with funeral expenses can be made to Lois Jackson and envelopes will be available at the service.
Ingram Meridith Funeral Home of Albion is assisting the family with arrangements.
