Karen Lynn Locke, 54, of Decatur, IL passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2023, at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born November 14, 1968, in Fairfield, IL to Lionel and Linda (Richardson) Harris.
Karen loved animals, especially cats and dogs, even babysitting the neighbor’s dog. She loved her family and would call each day to check on them.
She is survived by her daughter, Bethany (Damian Waltz); father, Lionel Harris and stepmother Jean Harris, step-sister Staci (Darrell) Smith; step-brother Jason Smith; two granddaughters, Thalla and Serynity.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Harris; brother, David Harris.
There will be no services and a private burial in Macedonia Cemetery, West Salem, IL will take place sometime in the spring.
