Joyce Thompson, 86, of Lebanon, IL passed away 2 August at the Cedar Ridge Heath and Rehab Center, Lebanon, IL.
She was born 29 January 1926 in Christian county, MO, to the late Ralph and Chloe, nee McCoy, Marley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Robert “Bob” Thompson, who passed away in 1995. They had no children.
Joyce had worked as a teller for the National Stock Yard Bank in East St Louis for many years and retired in the1970’s, She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Crescent Chapter No. 21, Springfield, MO. She had kept in contact with her lifelong friend, Norma Short, of Sparta, MO. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lebanon.
Memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice.
A private graveside burial service will be held at the College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
