JESSE V. BROWN, 81, of Xenia, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Flora Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Jesse was born January 15, 1937 in Orchardville, Illinois to Curt and Blanche (Bright) Brown.  He was divorced.

Jesse retired from Chrysler in Belvidere, Illinois where he had worked as an assembly line worker. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Coon Creek Ridge Riders of Rinard, Illinois. He enjoyed hunting rabbits and squirrels and going fishing.

Jesse is survived by a son, Jerry Brown; two daughters, Shirley Brown and Penny Barnes; one sister, Wilma Jacobs of Mendota, Illinois; two grandchildren and a special nephew, Bill Ellis of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home in Cisne, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 pm to 2 pm. Burial will be at a later date.
