      Jerry Wallace Beck, 69, of Cisne, Illinois passed away at his home on Thursday, January 7, 2021

      Jerry was born October 12, 1951 in Flora, Illinois to Jack Hayward and Freda Ilene (Goff) Beck.  Jerry married Rita (Block) Beck on February 17, 1980 in Cisne, Illinois.

      Jerry had worked for Poole Oil Company in the oil field. Jerry liked to deer hunt, go fishing and he loved animals.  He enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics and watching football.  Jerry also enjoyed working on cars or whatever might need to be fixed.

      Jerry is survived by his wife Rita; two sons Arnold ( Crystal) Beck of  Princeton, Indiana, and Allen (Chandra) Beck of   Evansville, Indiana; five grandchildren; nine sisters Rebecca (Billy) Slane, Lela Hickney, Marilyn Beck, Olive (Gary) Talbert, Julius Beck, Freda (Danny) Lowe, Helen (Jeff) Chapman, Christina Beck and April Beck; three brothers Jack (Gaylene) Beck, James Beck, Johnny (Beverly) Beck,  also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

      Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joe Beck, Jeffrey Beck; one sister, Rose Anderson.

      Private family service will be held.

      Memorial may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses. Please make checks payable to Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.  They may be dropped off at the funeral home or mailed to PO Box 418 Cisne, Illinois 62823

      Jerry (One More) you were one of a kind. Very Thoughtful and Helpful if someone needed it, I have shared many laughs with you and JD Rodgers and the rest of the Rodgers family. Rest High Jerry I will never forget you!

      Jerry you will be missed. You would help anyone if they needed or asked. I know you helped me a few times along with Russel and Betty. You loved to talk and kid around with everyone. You just loved to laugh and have a good time.
      I know the last few months had been hard for you.
      To his kids, I am sorry for your loss. He talked highly of you.

      I have a lot of great memories of Jerry, from being kids. To working on the rig with my dad, his uncle Layonel. When we were kids he pointed out that all his brothers names started with J, and so did mine!! I thought how cool was that!! R.I.P. Jerry you will be missed

      We were neighbors for a short time. Just across the back yard . One memory I have was when I had to give him a ride from the rig ( he had problem ) in an ambulance . Every time I saw Jerry after that he would say “That was the roughest ride and you must of hit every hole,” then he’d laugh … R I P

      We (including Laverne) will certainly miss talking with Jerry. He had a kind heart and he was very good to Rita. Please know that we hate to see you experience the loss of your father.
