James F. "Jim" Ogden, 91, of Lebanon, IL died October 14, 2009 at Memorial Hospital, Lebanon, IL. He was born May 19, 1918 to Grover and Pearl (nee Warren) Ogden. He married Marion Luke on December 9, 1939 in Wellston, MO by Pastor Carl Harris.
He retired in 1981 from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad after many years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Survived by his wife of 70 years, Marion Ogden, Lebanon, IL; two children, Richard (Judy) Ogden, Lebanon, IL; Ginger (Dennis) Haeuber, Woodlawn, IL; seven grandchildren, Ginger (John) Johnson, Todd Ogden, Lori (Rod) Reinneck, Michael (Natalie) Ogden, all of Lebanon, IL; Stephen (Barbara) Ogden, Troy, IL; Dr. Brian (Pollyanna) Haeuber, McLeansboro, IL; Jim (Cyndi) Haeuber, Salem, IL.
Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Grover Ogden, and two sisters, Helen Sweet and Virginia Lee Ogden.
Visitation: Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL and Monday, October 19th at the Church from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
