Inez Faye Barr, 87, of Rinard passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Heartland Regional Hospital in Marion, IL.

Inez was born August 10, 1936, in Fairfield, IL, to John Harvey Sr. and Dolores (Colclasure) Burton. She married Byron Barr on May 9, 1953, at Merriam, IL, they celebrated seventy years of marriage this past May.

Inez was a stay-at-home Homemaker, she enjoyed taking care of her family. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. When the weather permitted, she enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing, and traveling. Her favorite thing to do was going to thrift stores, and garage sales to see what kind of treasure she might find.

Inez is survived by her husband Byron Barr of Rinard, IL; one son Bret (Cindy) Barr of Rinard, IL, daughter Dolores Mizer of Springfield, IL; two granddaughters, Aimee Barr, and Megan Mizer; one sister Laura Mae Burke; also surviving are several nieces and nephews John Burke, Robert Burke, Jeff Burton, Samantha Guenette, Jacob Burton, and Jade Burton.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother John Harvey Burton Jr, brother-in- law Frank Burke, also preceding her in death was a nephew, David Burton.
