    Henry P. Reibold, 87, of Lebanon, IL, died January 18, 2010 at the Faith Care Center, Highland, IL.  He was born January 26, 1922 to Benjamin Charles and Mary Magdaline (nee Seigel) Reibold.

    Henry was a veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theatre in the U.S. Army Air corp.  He retired from Scott AFB where he had worked as an aircraft mechanic for 38 years.  He is a former member and past president of the St. clair Horseman of St. Clair County organization.  A lifetime member of the 455th Bomb Group organization of WWII veterans.  Also served as township supervisor for Lebanon township for 8 years, several years ago.  He loved his horses, and will be remembered by many in the area for his appearances in the Homecoming Parade in St. Jacob, IL in full Indian regalia.

    Preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Marjorie, nee Stanley, Reibold.  Survived by his son, William "Bill" (Mary) Reibold, Lebanon, IL;  two grandsons, Randy W. (Linda) Reibold, Trenton, IL;  Rodney R. (Laura ) Reibold Robinson, IL.  also survived by 5 great grandchildren, Brad Reibold and Ryan Reibold, Trenton, IL;  Andy, Alex and Kayla Reibold of Robinson, IL and Marilyn McLaughlin, his long time companion and friend, St. Jacob, IL.

    VISITATION: Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.

    FUNERAL SERVICE:  Thursday, January 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating.  Burial in the College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.

    MEMORIALS:  may be made to Faith Care Center, Highland, IL or St. Jacob American Legion, St. Jacob, IL.
