    Helen L Satterthwaite, 96, of rural Albion, IL passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Evansville, IN.

    She was born November 24, 1926 and married Cleatus Satterthwaite on October 13, 1946.

    Helen was preceded in death by her parents Addis B and Thelma (Goad) Coale, one sister Leona Partee, and one brother Addis Coale, Jr.

    She is survived by one daughter Sherry Brock; two granddaughters, Shelly and Kristina; two great granddaughters, Meleah and Kailyn, and one great grandson, Ashton.

    Helen loved poetry, crocheting, and quilting and was known for making a great chocolate pie and hot rolls.

    Visitation:  Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, West Salem, IL.

    Funeral Service:  Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, West Salem, IL.

    Interment:  Crest Haven Cemetery at Claremont, IL.

    So sorry for the loss of your mom. Our thoughts are with you and family at this difficult time.

    We remember Aunt Helen as a wonderful lady even though we’re miles away. I remember when you all came to Maine some 25+ years ago – a special time. Also remembering the last time I spoke to her just wonderful and caring as always . ❤️

    My heart breaks for your loss. I was honored to take care of Helen and be her nurse. It won’t be the same going to The Village and not going to see her. Praying that God gives you and your family peace at this difficult time💔
