Gudrun Anderson, 70, of Highland, IL, passed away, Sunday, September 6, 2020 at her home, surrounded by family.
Gudrun was born, May 22, 1950 in Heilbronn, Germany. She later married Larry Anderson.
She was a loving, caring mother, who was very protective of her children. Gudrun was very generous; the type of person who would give someone the shirt off her back. She was a hard-working woman, at one time, working for the State of Mississippi as a property manager. Gudrun will be missed by her family and all those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Larry Anderson.
Gudrun is survived by her mother; her children, Jurgen Bauman, Brian (Rebecca) Childers, Highland, IL, Desiree Anderson, Highland, IL, Heidi Anderson, Clive, IA; several grandchildren; a sister, Monika Altus and a brother, Uli Bope, both of Germany; several nieces and nephews.
