      George R. Keith, 61, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

      He was born on March 7, 1963, in East St. Louis, IL, to Norman H. and Charlotte R (nee Juenger) Keith, Sr.

      He had been employed by Midwest Motorsports Granite City Illinois as mechanic George loved to hunt and put RC cars together. There wasn't anything he couldn't take apart and reassemble.

      "May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand, and never close his fist too tight"

      He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman H. and Charlotte R. Keith.

      George is survived by his brothers, Arnold A. “Bud” (Denise) Juenger, Norman H. (Bridget) Keith, Sr.; special friend, Loretta Stock; son, Nathan Farias; Nathan’s Mother, Tina Farias; numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

      Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

      Memorial Service: Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home.

      We were Brothers from another mother having shared identical birth dates. Great friend and co-worker at Midwest Motor Sports for a number of years. You are already missed my Brother’ Rest In Peace.

      As the Fire Chief of Midway FPD you saved us with all the work you did.
      We couldn’t have served the community without you.
      You never turned me down whe in need f repairs.
