I remember Uncle Gene always had a smile and a good horse story to tell! Was always nice to my mom and us nephews. During my time in Afghanistan 15 years ago he and Aunt Beverly let me know I was in their prayers and our troops weren’t forgotten or taken for granted back home. In the Forgotten War that was Korea, Uncle Gene and his fellow GIs fought a capable, overt enemy face to face instead of cowards in caves.

Know our thoughts and prayers are with ya’ll during this hard time.

      Peace be with you!

We will miss you Uncle Gene, I pray that the Good Lord lets you, Glenn our Dad, and Uncle Guy and Uncle James (we never had the pleasure of knowing) lets you 4 Brothers play music for him. By far it would be 1000 times better than the Grand Ole Opry.

      Love,
      Edward and Cynthia Carrington
