      Francis “Dick” Lamper, age 88 of Mt. Carmel, IL, formerly of Allendale, passed from this life to the next on July 19, 2020.
      Dick was born on June 3, 1932 in Allendale to Neil and Annie (Litherland) Lamper.
      He was a tinker-er who enjoyed fixing things. Dick strongly identified with North American Indian heritage and enjoyed collecting western memorabilia as well.
      He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
      He will be remembered by his sister-in-law, Vivian Lamper, a cousin, Judy Stites and a cousin-by-marriage, Jo Karen Loeffler. Dick will also be missed by his caretakers and housemates who have known him for several years.
      A graveside service will be held at 10AM on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Wabash Presbyterian Cemetery in Orio, IL where Dick will be laid to rest next to his parents.

      I worked with Dick at wave and lived in the oaks together till he moved to river oaks !!!!! He was an awesome friend and I’ll miss him a lot

      Dickie was a 1st Cousin..I never really knew him..
      My mother Wealthy “lamper” Priano was his Aunt…
      All the same..Sad to hear of his passing….
      Im 70yrs old now and So many Cousins are unknown to me on both branches of the Family Tree…
      Did have the pleasure of corresponding with Judy Stites many years ago…
