    Francis A. Dysarz, Jr. 84, of Highland, IL died April 13, 2009 at his residence.  He was born in Detroit, MI January 23, 1925 to Francis A. and Marie (Bryda) Dysarz, Sr.  He married Cherie Sipe September 27, 1969 in Milwaukee, WI and she preceded him in death in 1998.

    Survived by two sons - Francis A. Dysarz, III - St. Louis, MO;  Mark Dysarz - Las Vegas, NV; one grandson - William of Grand Rapids, MI; two sisters, one brother - Dolores Hausch - Dearborn, MI; Charles Dysarz, Dearborn, MI; Caroline Gurmin, Garden City, MI; several nieces and nephews.

    Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter - Judith "Prudence" Ecord in 2004; two brothers - Richard Dysarz and John Dysarz; one brother-in-law - Raymond Hausch.

    He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII serving as a Radar Technician.

    He was employed in Advertising, retiring from Hoffman, York and Compton as Sr. Vice President;  Had a Masters' Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University.

    Francis was a member of the VFW Post 5694 in Highland, and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc; and the NRA.

    He received his Pilot's license in 1998 and loved flying.  He also enjoyed writing fiction and was working on severqal novels.

    Memorial Service - Saturday, April 18, 2009 @ 12 Noon @ VFW Hall in Highland, IL with full Military Honors.   Interment at a later date.

    There is no visitation.
