      FLORENCE M. (FLO) SMITH, 82, of Clay City, Illinois passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at her home.

      Flo was born January 28, 1937 at Chicago, Illinois to Florence Louise Murphy.

      Flo was a housewife and a member of the Frisky Fillies Red Hat Society.

      Flo is survived by four daughters Janet (Bill) Venters, Joyce (Ed) Smith, Joan (Steve) Hambrecht and Jeanne (Troy) Smith; five sons Joseph (Karen) Smith, Jr., Jack Smith, Jay (Jose) Smith, Jerry (Kelly) Smith, and Tim (Regina) Smith and a special friend Alan Rayburn. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and lots of other loving family members and friends also survive.

      Preceding her in death were her mother, son James Michael Smith and a daughter-in-law Sheila Smith.

      Cremation rites were accorded per Flo’s wishes. There will be no services.

      Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
