EVELYN M. WEAVER, 97, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at Cisne Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Evelyn was born at Johnsonville, Illinois, August 14, 1922 to Clarence E. and Sarah M. (Pennington) Lowe. She married Dwight O. Weaver January 28, 1942 at St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death January 18, 2019.
Evelyn was a housewife and a member of Round Prairie General Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher, VBS Director and Church Clerk; a member of the Round Prairie Quilting Club, Johnsonville Ruritanettes and a 4-H leader for fifteen years. She enjoyed quilting and loved church activities.
Evelyn is survived by two daughters Juanice E (Dean) Jackson of Wayne City, Illinois and Kathie E (Lonnie) Shepard of Cisne, Illinois; three sons Carl D. Weaver of Sandoval, Illinois, Danny D. (Leesa) Weaver of Cisne, Illinois, and Vernon C. Weaver of Wayne City, Illinois and one sister Dorothy Hicks of Cisne, Illinois. Nineteen grandchildren and fifty great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents Clarence and Sarah Lowe, husband Dwight Weaver, daughter Sandra Arlene Barefield, daughter-in-law Linda Kay Weaver, two sisters Faithie Beckel and Donna Lowe and two brothers Philip Lowe and Clifford Lowe.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Round Prairie General Baptist Church near Johnsonville, Illinois. Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Monday, January 13, 2020 at Round Prairie General Baptist Church. Burial will be in Round Prairie Cemetery.
