Eva and I had many classes together at East Richland High School and we were involved in FHA along with many other wonderful friends. She was hard-working and could light up the room with her laughter and smile.

Our sympathy goes to the family of Eva and her brothers and sisters. I have lots of memories from our younger days–attending the Parkersburg school, VBS in the summer time at one of the churches in town, and helping at the chowder. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and her siblings. Terry & Ken

I am saddened and heartbroken by the news of Eva’s passing.

I had the privilege of working with her for over 8 years and as I told people at the time I think I talked to her more on a daily basis than most other people in my life. She was a strong willed and determined Woman who always demanded the best from people – and when I first started working with her, I thought she was just being a hard ass (she was), but as we became closer (and I became better at my job!) I realized it’s because she was the hardest working person I have ever met in my life – and all she wanted was to work with people who cared as much as she did. I would often receive calls past closing time and wondered why she would still be in the office and she always would say something along the lines of “well if I don’t do it who the heck will!?”

She cared so much for the people and companies she worked for and although sometimes she could make it hard to tell, when you scratched off the surface she was the most dedicated and caring person. She constantly talked to me about her love of her family and especially her grandchildren. Please know she loved you all so deeply! I would always here about the many social and athletic accomplishments of her kin.

I will never forget the time I had with Eva and I am incredibly grateful I got the chance to spend a little time on this Earth with her. My condolences to her family and friends. She is thoroughly missed.
