Edward “Ed” George Meyer, 59, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, peacefully in his home.

He was born on September 23, 1963, in Belleville, IL, to Clyde Frederick and Winifred Marie (nee Felox) Meyer. On October 9, 1993, he married the love of his life, Deborah Graham, in Edwardsville, IL.

Ed was an avid motorcycle rider; he loved his Honda Goldwing and Valykerie. He and Deborah spent their time on the bikes going on road trips to Yellowstone or taking their grandchildren on rides. In his free time, he enjoyed working on his bikes and cars while listening to classic rock, or hanging out with his sons teaching them how to shoot muzzle loading black powder guns. Ed loved his friends dearly, especially his best friend, his little dog Max. He was a treasured huband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Frederick and Winifred Marie Meyer; sister, Leah Ramatowski.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Deborah Meyer; sons, Raymond (Alison) Graham, Edward “Ed” (Bethany) Meyer; grandchildren, Patrick (Ariel) Graham, Fiona Graham, Phillip Adams, Dresden Meyer; his riding brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

Memorials may be made to the family for the funeral expenses.

i can’t even imagine Eddie being gone. Way too young. I remember him like it was yesterday as a 7 or 9 year old asking if he could walk our dog., something he and Debbie continued to do up until his passing.. He will be much missed.. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Debbie. and family.
