      Earl David Emmons, 44, of West Salem, IL passed from this life to the next on January 3, 2019 at his home.

      He was born March 7, 1974 in Lawrenceville, IL to Alice (Wells) and Arnold Lee Emmons. He married Sonya Lathrop on October 9, 1998 in Lawrenceville and she survives.

      Earl was an oil field driller, and enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting. He also loved to cook and ride motorcycles and enjoyed having horses.

      He is survived by his wife Sonya, daughter Tiffany, and son Levi all of West Salem. His father, Arnold, and four brothers: Rodger (Tanya) Emmons, Mike Emmons, Randall Emmons, and Todd Wells also survive.

      He was preceded in death by his mother Alice; his grandparents; a brother, Kenny Emmons; and an uncle, Jim Emmons.

      A private service will be held at a later date.
