    Dwight P. Hanson, 75 of Lebanon, IL died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Cedar Ridge Health & Rehab Center, Lebanon, IL.   He was born September 23, 1933 in Trenton, IL to Everett D. and Delphine E. (Rochell) Hanson.  On May 8, 1954, he married Nadine M. Schultze.

    Surviving are his Wife, Nadine M. (Schultze) Hanson, Lebanon, IL; Four Children, Debra (Christopher) Zimmer, Marine, IL;  Dennis Dwight (Roni) Hanson, Trenton, IL;  Kathy (Bruce) Bridgeforth, Peoria, IL;  Capt. Kenneth (Sandra) Hanson, Prattville, AL; Fourteen Grandchildren - Adam and Aaron Bohnenstiehl;  Valerie, Rachel, Megan & Doug Zimmer, Lenore (Samuel) Herndon, Kimberly (David) Alexander; Kristine (Fiance, Joel Kelly) DeBra;  Cody and Dale Bridgeforth; Ashlee, Amber and Zachary Hanson;  Four Great Grandchildren - Gabyrl Hanson, Blake Alexander, Jadlyn Everett, Grace Hanson;  Brother - Ardell (Sandra) Hanson, Lebanon, IL;  Sister, Verona (Delmar) Meier, Troy, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.

    Preceded in Death by: Parents, and a Niece, Judy Meier in infancy.

    Dwight was a farmer and steel worker.  He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Lebanon, IL; O'Fallon Sportsmans Club and Steel Workers Union.

    VISITATION:  4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Meyer Funeral Home in Lebanon, IL and from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Lebanon, IL.

    FUNERAL SERVICE:  Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church, Lebanon, IL with the Rev. Brian Holle, officiating.  Burial in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.

    Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice.
