Dorothy M. Cruse (nee Hafford), 77, of Pocahontas, IL died Monday, July 25, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.
She was born December 28, 1933 to Loyd Clifford and Minnie Mae (nee Fair) Hafford in Cairo, IL. On November 22, 1952 she married Donald Eugene Cruse, Sr. in Piggott, AR.
She was a member of Greenville Church of Christ which she faithfully attended for 35 years. She was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan.
She is survived by 3 children, Vicki (special friend Karen Grant) Cruse, Grand Rapids, MI, Beverly (Gene) Mollett, Pocahontas, IL, Donald E. (Kim) Cruse, Jr., Pocahontas, IL; 2 grandchildren, Curtis (Fiancé Tina Myers) Mollett and Donald E. Cruse, III; 3 great grandchildren, Cassandra, Ethan, and Dylan Mollett; 2 special friends, Cindy Hostmeyer and Pat Berry (CNA’S); many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Minnie Hafford, her husband, Donald E. Cruse, Sr., on July 18, 1995; 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
