Dorothy L. "Dot" Nunn, nee Starner, 78, of Lebanon, IL, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was born October 20, 1929 in York, PA to John and Florence (Reynolds) Starner. On September 9, 21, 1951, she married Wallace L. Nunn in Towson, MD.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace L. Nunn of Lebanon, IL; three sons, John "J" (Rhonda) Nunn of Lebanon, IL; Ronald (Lea Ann) Nunn, Colorado Springs, CO; and Jeff (Connie) Nunn of Lebanon, IL; seven grandchildren - Robert (Amy) Nunn, Highland, IL; Jami Nunn, Lebanon, IL; Eric and Brian Nunn, Mascoutah, IL; Melissa, Lauren, & Paige Nunn, Lebanon, IL; two great grandsons, Landon Nunn, and Gage Nunn; two brothers, Robert Starner, York, PA; Kenneth (Bonnie) Starner, Sterling, VA; one sister, and Sue (Barry) Gilbert, Windsor, PA
She was preceded in death by: one son, Robert Alan Nunn, two brothers - Charles "AL" Alan Starner, John "Jerry" Starner, and her parents.
Dot was a homemaker and was a member of the Lebanon Sportsman Club and Eta-Tha-Zeta Sorority.
She enjoyed Bingo, Yahtzee, Traveling, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
VISITATION: Friday, Oct. 10th @ Meyer Funeral Home from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
FUNERAL: Friday, Oct. 10th @ 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Don Wagner, Pastor, St. Paul UCC, and Mrs. Brenda Pehle, Parish Life Coordinator, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL.
Memorials may be offered to Hospice of Southern IL or St. Paul UCC, or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
