Dottie was a very special lady, she served as my Secretary of Trenton VFW Auxiliary 7983 for over 10 years. When our post closed she transferred her life membership to Highland VFW Aux 5694. She did a lot over the years for veterans. Rest In Peace my friend and now you can walk all you want

My sympathy to Dottie’s family & friends. I was So Blessed to have Dottie as a special friend! We enjoyed shopping & VFW Bingo together. We became friends right away when I started working at Walmart. When I was at work as a cashier, she always came through my line. I will miss her so. Rest in Peace dear friend.

Like Amy, I worked with Dottie many years ago in downtown St. Louis at Mercantile Bank (now US Bank). A group of us (Amy, Karen H, Karen S, Barb D, and I) continued to get together once a year or so to stay in touch. We’ve missed that Dottie hasn’t been able to join us the last handful of years. The picture selected for her obituary perfectly reflects that big smile of hers. It was a pleasure to know Dottie. She takes with her many great memories of fun times and adventures she had on earth, but what an amazing time she’s having now! Whoop it up, Dottie! We’ll see you again!

I will miss you and I will put into continued practice everything you have taught me. The loss I feel for you is so devastating. I can and will learn from this lesson life has dealt us. The talks we have had, the laughs we shared will forever remain in my heart. Give Dad a huge hug for me and as you know I loved you and cherish my life being your daughter, from another Mother! Go rest high on that mountain. God bless you in your journey. I’ll Love you Always, your daughter Jackie McCoy Manuel

Dottie was a good neighbor at Faith Countryside Apartments. She loved her Cubs while almost all here at the apartments love the Cardinals. I would wear my Cub shirt for her when we played our nickle bingo here! She would open her door and i would have mine open and we would make small talk across the hall of each other. She will be missed for sure. God called her home so no more pain for her.
