Dennis R. Pohl, 77, of Highland, IL, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.
He was born July 15, 1944, to Edwin and Nina (nee Zimmermann) Pohl, in Highland, IL. On Saturday, October 7, 1967, he married Sharon Schmitt at Marine United Church of Christ, Marine, IL.
Dennis was a member of the Marine United Church of Christ. He was a machinist by trade owned/operated Square Deals Sales and Service in Highland, IL. He liked spending time with his family and loved working with his hands.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel A. (Jamie) Pohl, Highland, IL, and Donald J. (Tricia) Pohl, St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Brian M. Pohl, Dyersburg, TN, Michael A. Pohl, Highland, IL, and Dylan Pohl, Highland, IL; great-grandchild, Lilly Pohl, Highland, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon A. Pohl, and parents, Edwin J. and Nina O. Pohl.
