Delores Hall Nunn, 77, was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born on November 1, 1936, in Madison, IL, to Pearl and Myrtle Hall.
She received her education from the Lebanon School District. Delores was employed as a CAN at St. Elizabeth Hospital, as well as a seamstress. She was a loving daughter who helped nurse her parents during their illness. Her favorite color was purple. She loved nurturing plants, baking, and enjoyed taking walks.
Delores accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, and was a member of the In Action for Christ Church in Lebanon, IL.
On October 27, 1956, Delores was united in marriage to Nathaniel Nunn. From this union there were two daughters, Adrienne Denise Howell and Juanita Nunn Spears.
On October 24, 2014, Delores was called home to be with the Lord. Preceding Sister Delores in death were her parents, Pearl and Myrtle Hall; five brothers, Bobby Dean Simms, Vernon Douglas Hall, William Gene Hall, Ronald Lewis Hall, Robert Charles Hall; and one sister, Pearlie Mae Chatman.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters, Adrienne and Juanita (Paul); five grandchildren, Whitney, Cierra, Austin, Riviera, and Maya; four great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Sylvester Hall; four sisters, Maxine (LaFarrell) Price and Lola Berry (all of Lebanon, IL), Betty Thomas of Dayton, OH, Paulette Aveau of Oakland, CA; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Hall and Gloria Simms; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation: Thursday, October 30, 2014, 10:00-11:00 am, at Jesus the Living Word Church, 600 E. McAllister St, Lebanon, IL.
Funeral Service: Thursday, October 30, 2014, 11:00 am, at the Church.
Interment: College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
