    David Lee Brant, 57, of Cisne, IL passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL.

    David was born June 16, 1965, in Oak Park, IL, to Donald and Lou Anna (Cox) Brant. On June 14, 1986, He married Sheryl Kyburz , in Tennessee and she survives.

    David was a construction worker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

    David is survived by his mother Lou Anna Brant of Clay City, IL; wife Sheryl Brant of Cisne, IL; a daughter Lexi Brant and her fiancé Jayden Hatcher of Cisne, IL; one sister Tina (Jonathan) Patton of Rockport, IN; one brother John Brant of Olney, IL; three nieces Kacy Mugrage and Shea Jones both of Rinard, IL, Carmen Wedding of Owensboro, KY and one nephew Corey Patton of Rockport, IN.

    Preceding him in death was his father, Donald Brant.

    Visitation:   Monday, July 11, 2022, 5:00pm – 7:00pm, at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.

    Funeral Service:  Tuesday, July 12, 2022, 10:00am, Hosselon-Meridith Funeral Home.

    Burial: Bunker Cemetery, Rinard, IL

    Memorials: Tunnel to Towers Foundation and will be accepted at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.
