Danny Rommerskirchen, 70, of Pocahontas, IL died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at his residence.
Danny was born July 29, 1940 to Melvin and Maxine (nee Hutchinson) Rommerskirchen in Highland, IL.
He was a member of United Methodist Church, Pocahontas, IL. He lived in Pasadena, CA for 20 years. He started working at the Rose Bowl as a groundskeeper and worked his way up to Head Rosarian. He was a graphics artist for Hanna Barberra. In his retirement years he obtained his C. N. A. and loved to take care of people. He also loved yard sales.
He is survived by 1 brother, Dale (Susanna) Rommerskirchen; 4 nephews, Kyle Rommerskirchen, David M. Rommerskirchen, Jr., Donald (Tanya) Rommerskirchen, Dale Rommerskirchen; 7 great nieces and nephews; 2 great-great niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Maxine Rommerskirchen; 1 brother, David M. Rommerskirchen, Sr.
