Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” Price

Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” (nee Karnes) Price, 53, of Lebanon, IL, died Saturday, October 13, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O’Fallon, IL, with her family at her side.

Cindy was born June 4, 1965, to Jerry and Barbara Jean (nee Hayes) Karnes in Murfreesboro, TN.  On December 20, 1985, she married LaFarrell Price in Belleville, IL.

Cindy dedicated her life to Christ in 1987, being baptized by her husband.  As a member of Jesus the Living Word Church in Lebanon,Il, she loved the fact that she was a Charter Member of the Church from its inception in 1998 and that she was the Pastor’s wife.  Cindy was a diligent worker in the House of God and served as Director of Food & Services.  She loved her family, children and grandchildren, and the family gatherings they enjoyed together.

She worked as a CNA, pet groomer, and waitress.  She was a pet lover, especially dogs.  Cindy was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved camping and fishing, and taught her children how to fish.  She also liked to cook, and was known for her chili.

She is survived by her Husband, LaFarrell Price, Lebanon, IL; Father, Jerry (Betty) Karnes, Poplar Bluff, MO; Children, Austin LaFarrell (significant other, Ashley Perry) Price, Lebanon, IL, and Aspen Lynn Price, Lebanon, IL; Paternal Grandmother, Leota Adams Karnes, Poplar Bluff, MO; Grandchildren, Nevaeh Faith Price and Nova Corrine Price; Sisters, Lisa (Scott) Diecker, Belleville, IL, and Kimberly Arbogast, Belleville, IL; Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law; Nieces and Nephews; and her beloved dog, Sage.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Barbara Jean Karnes; Maternal Grandparents, Emmett Hayes and Mary Collins Hayes; Paternal Grandfather, Chester Joseph Karnes.

Visitation:  Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 9:00 to 11:00 am, at Jesus the Living Word Church, Lebanon, IL

Funeral Service:  Thursday, October 18, 2018, 11:00 am, at Jesus the Living Word Church, Lebanon, IL.
