    Cora Fae Jahnssen, nee McFarland, 67 of Sorento, IL died January 3, 2008 at Litchfield Healthcare Center, Litchfield, IL.  She was born in Inverness, Mississippi on April 26, 1940 to James Edward and Lillian (Stuard) McFarland.  Both parents are deceased.   She Married Guy W. Jahnssen July 4, 1995 in Litchfield, IL, and he survives.

    Also survived by:  five daughters, and one son, Cora Lee (Dave) Cook, Yankton, SD;  Kim (Art) Garland, Modesto, IL;  Anna (Bob) Zbinden, Greenville, IL;  Nickie Barnhart, Sorento, IL;  Charles "Chuck" Jahnssen, Walshville, IL; Suzanne (Kenneth) Turner, Greenville, IL:  16 Grandchildren, Nathaniel Garland, Brandy Zbinden, Zachary Zbinden, Bethany Barnhart, Kayla Barnhart, Miranda Barnhart, Kenneth Turner, Dillon Turner, Anna Marie Turner, Christina Hairston, Samantha Hairston,   David Hollinsworth, Nichole Cook, Amber Corrado, Chris Hollinsworth, Melanie Hollinsworth, 8 Great Grandchildren - Mikah, Lealand, Matava, Noah, Jacob, Alyxxus, Mackensie, April;  three brothers - Nathan A. Brocato, Clarksville, TN;  Terry (Rose) Castaneda, Greenville, Mississippi;  Larry (Christine) Castaneda, Tampa, FL.

    She was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Hairston, two brothers, Richard Castaneda and Jerry Casteneda.

    Cora was a homemaker and had worked as a laborer in a factory in her earlier days.  She was a member of the 1st Apostolic church, Greenville, IL.

    Visitation:  Monday, January 7, 2008 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the 1st Apostolic Church, Greenville, IL.

    Funeral Service:  Monday, Jan. 7th at 11:00 A.M. at the Church, with Pastor George Bankston officiating.

    Burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Greenville, IL.
