    Christine Conrad, 71, of Allendale, IL, passed away April 14, 2022.

    She was born January 10, 1951, to Donald and Grace (nee Sisson) Hasselbrink, in Erlangen, Germany.

    Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved spending time with her family.  Christine loved music, dancing, being outside, and was an avid reader.  She loved history and could speak multiple languages.  An animal lover with a big heart, she would help animals whenever she could.  Christine was quite witty, always sharing her “fun facts”.   When she was younger, she enjoyed traveling all over the world with her military family.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Grace Hasselbrink.

    Christine is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Conrad, Allendale, IL; children, Tamara (Woodrow) Lemon, Benton, LA, Jarrod (Lisa) Henson, Mt. Carmel, IL, Nathan Pickering, Allendale, IL, Troy (Amy) Conrad, Allendale, IL, Dalen Conrad, Allendale, IL; grandchildren, Kedric (Kaitlyn) Lemon, Bradley (Nicole) Lemon, Caleb Lemon, Cade Henson, Clayton Lagow, Conner Lagow, Landon Lagow, Thomas Conrad, Gage Headrick, Zoey Headrick; great grandchildren, Lillian, Adelynn, Julian, Madilyn and Kaylee; special cousin, Janet Resler.

    Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

    Visitation:  Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. at Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Allendale, IL.

    Funeral Service:  Wednesday, April 20, 2022, 12:00 pm, at Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Allendale, IL.

    Interment:  Allendale Cemetery, Allendale, IL.

    You were the first person who turned me on to “The Who,” my tanning buddy, and a dear sweet friend!! I loved growing up in our neighborhood watching Tammy, Jarrod, and Nathan grow up to be wonderful adults!! You are one of the best memories of my teenage years. I know you will be sorely missed by your children, grandchildren, and greats!! I wish you rest and God’s eternal blessings my sweet friend!! Until we meet again…
