Cecelia E. "Ceil" Harris, 84 of Highland, IL died May 30, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL. She was born in rural Highland in Marine Twp, on January 1, 1924 to Daniel and Minnie, nee Ims, Horn, both are deceased. She married Udell I. Harris August 23, 1945 at St. Gertrude's Church, Grantfork, IL, and he survives.
Also preceded in death by one brother Kenneth Horn.
Ceil was a homemaker and had worked as a dental assistant for about 20 years. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL and was an avid collector of Womens' Suffrage Memorabilia.
Visitation: Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. And on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Church from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, June 2, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Charles A. Edwards, officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Highland, IL.
Memorials may be offered for Masses or to St. Paul Educational Foundation.
