Blake W. Parker, 34, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at his home.

He was born February 10, 1988, to Mary Ann (nee Hankins) Andersen, in Clayton, MO.

Blake loved his family above all else, he enjoyed spending time with them, especially hiking with his mom and his daughters. He also had a soft spot in his heart for his animals, but Ahna, his dog, was his favorite. Blake worked for the Laborers Union Local 44 for over 15 years and was a hard-working handyman both at work and at home. He was always the one you could call if you needed help with any project, big or small. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and picked up cross-fit and kickboxing. Blake accepted God into his life and found his peace in reading the Bible. He was a treasured father, son, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Blake is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary Ann and Doug Andersen; daughters, Graci Herling, Mackenzi Parker; special friend, Brenda Vernoy; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and many loving friends.

Memorials may be made to the Parker Family or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

I have so many memories but one of my favorite was the damn spider 🫣. You were always there for me through thick and thin. I hope grandma has a Little Debbie’s drawer full just for you and grandpa has a cooler with Zero bars and frozen Snickers waiting in the boat. I love you, rest easy!

We could always find Blake “Punky” “Blakey” Parker on the heels, of his grandpa he would follow him from the house to the garage and from the garage to the house. You are going to be missed by so many people We all Love You. Be your Mom and girls guardian Angel and watch over them. I’m sure Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Denny were all there for you. Give them all hugs from the family. Blakey I’m so sorry we didn’t have our family get togethers like we use to. ❤️💞 Love you
