Beverly Carrington, 93, of Cisne, Il passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.

Beverly was born May 1, 1930, in Cisne, IL to Wilfred and Evelyn (Reid) Beekler.  She married Gene Carrington on September 26, 1954, and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2018.

Beverly was a Home Economics teacher for thirty-three years.  She loved to cook, especially baking, gardening and being outdoors.  She was a member of the Cisne United Methodist Church and the Illinois Teachers Association.

She is survived by her daughter Rise’ (Bryan) Whitworth of Kennett, MO; one grandson, Thor Whitworth; and a sister Melody Howell of Cisne, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene Carrington.

Funeral Services: Friday, June 30, 2023, at 9:00 am at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home in Cisne, IL.
