Betty Nadine (Dean) Brinson, 90, of Huntsville, AL, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the age of 90.
Dean was born in Baskett, KY on January 11, 1932 to the late Parvin Hall and Goldie Lorene Hall. She was the oldest of four children and the only daughter. She attended schools in Henderson, KY and business college in East S. Louis, IL.
As a young girl Dean loved dancing and attended tap and ballet school with her cousin and life-long friend Joyce Cobb of Henderson, KY.
Dean married the love of her life Richard (Dick) Brinson on August 28, 1948 and was happily married for 72 years.
She fulfilled her great love for children by being a foster mother for young newborn babies. She loved and nurtured 50 babies until they were adopted. Babies of all races and gender. Dean believed all babies were a gift from God and were all equal and deserved to be loved. She gave her heart and love to each and every one of them and touched many lives.
Dean was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard (Dick) Brinson; brothers, Parvin Wayne (Sonny) Hall, Jerry Allen Hall; sister-in-law, Ruby Hall; grandson, Derek Jackson, granddaughter, Addie York and Nephew, Mark A. Hall.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Vicki) Brinson of Sunny Hills, FL, Richard (Dick) (Carol) Brinson of Lawtey, FL, Rebecca (Newman, "Skip") Jackson of Huntsville, AL, BethAnn Nodine of East Alton, IL; sister-in-law, Sandra Hall of Murray, KY and sister-in-law Joanne Hall of Evansville, IN; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Collinsville, IL.
Service: Tuesday, May 24, 2000, 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Collinsville, IL.
Interment: Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
