    Benjamin K. Luthe, 31, of West Salem, Illinois passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at his home.

    Ben was born January 8, 1988 in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Mike and Connie (Giese) Luthe.

    He was a farmer most of his life and he loved cows. He enjoyed playing his guitar and lifting weights.

    Survivors include Ben’s parents, Mike and Connie; sister, Megan and her husband Jason Hunter; and niece, Katie Hunter.He is also survived by one uncle and four aunts. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and two uncles.

    Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, August 5, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church in West Salem. A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Wabash Cemetery, West Salem.
