Audrey M. Terrill Hunt (nee Hesi), 77 of Pocahontas, Illinois, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011, with her family by her side.
The daughter of Charles and Emma (nee Schallenberg) Hesi, she was born in Alhambra, Illinois on November 1, 1933 and was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmama.
Audrey truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; sitting on the beach enjoying the warmth of the sun with her family, fishing with her beloved husband, watching Cardinal baseball, enjoying the company of her friends and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren laughing, playing and enjoying life.
Audrey was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Highland Post 5694 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Emma Hesi and her brother Olin Hesi.
She is survived by her husband Albert Hunt, her children Wayne Terrill, Highland; Linda (Rich) Lewis, Highland; Irene (Andrew) Wenzel, Tampa, Florida; Melissa (Brad) Besand, St. Peters, Missouri; Bruce Hunt, Maryland Heights, Missouri; Timothy Hunt, St. Ann, Missouri; Jonathan (Angie) Hunt, Killeen, Texas; her grandchildren Zach (Kim) Lewis, Matt (Brooke) Lewis, Kyleigh Lewis, Maddison Wenzel, Brooke Terrill, Meisi Wenzel, Myka Wenzel, Max Wenzel, Bradley Besand, Danielle Besand, Savannah Besand, Joshua Hunt and great grandchildren Jacob Lewis, Oliver Lewis, Brody Lewis, Brielle Lewis and Mason Hunt.
Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice.
Visitation: Wednesday, October 26, 2011, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL
Memorial Service: Private
Clergy: Rev. Chris Hill, Senior Pastor, Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland
Interment: Salem Cemetery, Alhambra, IL, at a later date.
