I was sorry to hear of the passing of my cousin Dean Powell. I have many fond memories growing up with cousin Dean there in Cisne during the 1930 – 1950 era. I remember Dean was an outstanding basketball player during his high school years at Cisne High School. Dean served in the Korea War and I served in Vietnam. At family reunions we would often swap stories – same stories, just different wars. He was a great person and i know he will be missed by all those who knew him. Thoughts and Prayers to MaryAnn, and the rest of the Powell family.
