Alice “Louise” Bunnell of DeKalb, IL, formerly of Cisne, IL died on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Aperion Care of DeKalb, in DeKalb, IL.
She was born in Fairfield, IL the daughter of Katherine Greenwood on May 3, 1929. She married Dwight Bunnell on June 29, 1946, in Flora. He preceded her in death May 27, 2004.
She retired in 1987 from GTE/Automatic Electric in Genoa, IL. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church, and honorary member of the Cisne American Legion.
Survivors include two daughters: Sharon (Darial) Hubbard of Haines City, FL, Sherry (Jack) Barnes of Genoa, IL; a son Roger (Fran) Bunnell of Idaho Falls, ID; six grandchildren Matt (Jeff Damon) Blazer, Doug Blazer, Carrie (Jack) Carney, Sarah Bunnell, Michelle (Dan) Brening, and Kristin Barnes; six great-grandchildren Breanna (Michael) Ilardo, Julian Lopez, Cheyenne Bunnell, Jaylea Decker and Andrew and Nathan Brening; one great-great grandchild, Lucian Ilardo and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband Dwight, Mother Katherine, Sister Maxine Weaver and Grandson Justin Bunnell.
Visitation: Friday, November 19, 2021, 9:30 am – 10:30 am at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne, IL.
Graveside Service: Johnsonville Cemetery 11:00 am at Johnsonville, IL.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Pleasant Grove Christian Church and will be accepted at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne, IL.
