      ALBERT GLEN. AUVIL, formerly of Fairfield, Illinois passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, Illinois.

      Albert was born June 1, 1937 to Clarence and Gaynell (Farris) Auvil at their home in Geff, Illinois.

      Albert had worked in the oilfield for years as a driller. Albert also enjoyed doing carpenter work.
      He was a member of the Oak Valley Free Will Baptist Church in Geff, Illinois.

      Albert is survived by one daughter Vicky (David) McKean of Fairfield, Illinois; three sons Mike (Tonya) Auvil of Huntingburg, Indiana; Brad (Sheila) Auvil and Mark (Martha) Auvil both of Fairfield, Illinois; one sister Irene Tucker of Fairfield, Illinois and brother Sonny (Katie) Auvil of Flora, Illinois; also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

      Preceding him in death were his parents; one son Rickey Auvil; two sisters Alberta Robertson and Kay Deal.

      There will be no formal services. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Oak Valley Cemetery in Geff, Illinois.

      Memorials may be given to donors choice and may be dropped off at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home or may be mailed to 305 Park Street Cisne, Illinois 62823.

      You have my sympathy Mike ,Brad, Mark and Vickie. Will never forget how your family was so supportive to our family 38 years ago. today. If there is anything that I can do let me know. Will never forget you all.
