Adam T. Jacoby, 38, of Crested Butte, CO, formerly of Highland, IL, died Friday, May 16, 2014, in Denver, CO.
Adam was born August 16, 1975, to William and Patricia (nee Stock) Jacoby, in Highland, IL.
He graduated from Highland High School in 1993. He attended Lincoln College, Lincoln, IL, Belleville Area College, and St. Louis University. He worked at TriStar Industrial Supply in Information Technology. He was a Chef and worked for several restaurants in Crested Butte, CO. His passion was cooking.
He loved to play golf, and was the first person to qualify for state tournament on an individual level at Highland High School. He liked to play the guitar and was a huge Cardinal fan and loved to go to games.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Jacoby, Highland, IL; 2 sisters, Trisha (Richard) Seelen, and Leah Jacoby; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Jacoby; his grandparents, Joseph and Marcella Stock, and Amos and Dorothy Jacoby.
Memorials may be made to Highland High School Boys Golf Team.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 27, 2014, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.
