      Stephen Carver, 23, of Benld, IL, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at his home in Benld, IL.

      Stephen brought an incomparable light to the lives of everyone who knew him. With a smile that could brighten any room and a heart full of joy, Stephen's presence was a gift. His keen sense of character and ability to see the good in people meant he never met a stranger—only new friends.

      Stephen's passions were as vibrant as his personality. He loved the music and magic of Hannah Montana, often dancing with unbridled enthusiasm to songs that made his heart sing. Yet, above all, Stephen cherished his friends and family, showering them with unconditional love that will be treasured forever.

      Stephen's legacy is one of pure happiness, boundless love, and a reminder to live each day with joy.

      He was preceded in death by his Grandma Phyllis.

      Stephen is survived by his father, Michael Carver; mother, Cherie Wartenbe; step-mother, Tanya Overton; siblings, Hope (Chad Johnson) Carver, Austin (Shelby Fisler) Carver, Chantal Carver, Mya Carver, Caleb Carver; step-siblings, Matthew Gerding, Andrew Gerding; niece & nephew, Sapphire Carver, Casper Carver; aunt, Stacey Neff; uncle, Steve Neff; grandmother, Lastella Wartenbe; and many loving friends.

      Memorials may be made to help with funeral funds.

      Celebration of Life: Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

      Rest in Peace my Grandson for you gave up the Spirit and shall have Eternal Life and a Perfect body God chose you for his purpose here on earth Stephen you completed the task with full honors to the Most High Heavenly Father.Walk those streets of Gold and Sing in the Heavenly Choir Put on your Robe in Glory and have a little talk with Jesus.Love you Saint Stephen Carver .

      My sweet baby boy i can’t believe you are gone . I carried you for 9 months . I cant believe you are gone at only 23 years old . This loss is unbearable. I never saw this coming. Why wasnt I allowed more time with my son . I miss you so much. Rest in peace until we meet again . I love you son i hope u knew that
