Direct Burial service is a one-day function, usually soon after the family learns of the death. It will usually include committal service, casket, and burial vault.
An immediate cremation will sometimes include a memorial service at a later date. The cremated remains may be present, depending on the family’s wishes. If final interment is a burial, this will also include a committal service.
