Robert ‘Bob’ Dale Beck, 64, of Geff, IL, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt Vernon, IL.
Bob was born June 13, 1958, at Fairfield, IL to Claude Lealon ‘Shorty’ and Arlene (Sieberns) Beck. He was divorced. Bob was a farmer and worked for Byars Farms at Geff, IL and loved tractor pulls. He previously was Fire Chief at Geff Fire Department.
Bob is survived by a special friend Carol Sue Robertson of Geff, IL; two daughters Brandy Beeson and Sarah (Lance) Robbins both of Fairfield IL; one son Brian Beck of MI; three sisters Claudia Browning and Judith Clevenger both of Cisne, IL, and Sandra Richards of Fairfield, IL; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister Mary Catherine.
Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) at Hosselton Meridith Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 9, 2022, at 12:00 pm (noon) at Hosselton Meridith Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Geff, IL.
Memorials may be given to the family for funeral expenses and will be accepted at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.
