    Maxwell Reisinger 79 of Olney, IL passed from this life to eternal life on Friday, February 11, 2022.
    Max was born on August 5, 1942, to Harold and Helen Reisinger of Bone Gap, IL.

    During high school Max was president of the FFA and excelled in Football.  Max was a hard-working farmer and hog producer.  Later Max enjoyed Motocross and stock car racing and had a successful tenure as an Oil-well producer, then living his retirement in Olney, IL.  He was a father and grandfather, and if you visited Max, you would see his walls covered in pictures of friends and family that were dear to him.

    Max is survived by his children Joe Reisinger Jacksonville FL, Curtis (Tonya) Reisinger Batavia OH, Todd Reisinger Brunswick GA, Jeremy Reisinger Flora IL, Mathew Reisinger Mayfield KY, and Danielle Schmidt.
    Thirteen Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren; Brother Gene (Linda) Reisinger Oak Park IL, and Sister Suzie Reisinger Lombard, IL.

    Max was preceded in death by his parents, his oldest daughter Gail Barnes, and grandson Jimmy Reisinger

    Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18 from 5 to 7 PM at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, IL.  The Funeral will be held on Saturday, February 19 at 10 AM at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, IL with burial to follow at Bone Gap Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers please make donations to Senior Services – ECCOA

    Max was my friend and my boss, he was always honest and a good person. I learn a lesson t from him about being a real man.

    Max and I were classmates from Bone Gap Grade School thru Edwards County High School. He was always a good friend.
