    Sandra E. “Sandy” Willis, 76, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, IL.  She was born July 26, 1945, to Richard Hines and Edna Madden in Evansville, IN.

    Sandy was a loving mother and grandmother.  She liked to cook and was known for her cherry pies.  Sandy didn’t know a stranger.  She had a passion for growing plants and flowers and loved all kinds of flowers.  Sandy was proud to be an American, she loved our flag and anything patriotic.

    Sandy was a devout Christian and attended the House of Prayer in Albion, IL

    She is survived by two sons; Murv Fisher of Albion, Randy (Debbie) Fisher of Ellery, IL, one sister; Shirley Fisher of Albion, two brothers; Richard (Norma) Hines of Newburgh, IN, Jeff Madden of Albion, eight grandchildren; Jennifer (Billy) Williams, Michael (Kate) Fisher, Jessica Fisher, Matthew D (Tara) Fisher, E.J. Fisher, Jacob Fisher, Austin (Kelsey) Barrett, Tyler (Courtney) Barrett, many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

    Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; George Hines and Edna Madden, sister, Romana Cundiff, husband, Don Willis.

    Visitation:  10:00 a.m. Friday October 29, 2021, Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL

    Funeral:  11:00 a.m. Friday October 29, 2021, Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL.

    Memorials can be made to Matthew D. Fisher to help with his medical expenses.

    Interment:  Graceland Cemetery, Albion, IL.

    Clergy:  Kirk Smith

    Enjoyed visiting with Sandy. I spoke with her several times when I would go by her house when she lived on N.6th St.
