    Cora E. Haas, nee Fenton, 97, of Pocahontas, IL died February 2, 2010 at Greenville Regional Hospital, Greenville, IL.   She was born April 4, 1912 at Pocahontas, IL to Elisha James and Martha (nee Brown) Fenton, both deceased.
    She married George A. Haas, Jr  Aug. 9, 1930 and he preceded her in death.

    Survivors include, a Son, James (Judy) Haas, Collinsville, IL, Four Grandchildren, Bruce (Debra) Haas, Greenville, IL; Beth (Jim) Taylor, Maryville, IL; Lori (Frank) Pearson, Pocahontas, IL; Christopher Haas, Pocahontas, IL;  Four Great Grandchildren, Eric Haas, Jeremy Lappe, Katherine Ogan, and Madeline Taylor.
    Daughter-in-Law – Linda Haas.

    Cora was known as a Homemaker Deluxe and most of the neighborhood kids called her “Aunt Shorty”.

    Preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, Son – Michael Lynn Haas, two children in infancy, Ronald Dean Haas and Mary Beth Haas; and a grandson, Michael Lynn Haas, Jr; three sisters and seven brothers, Harvey Fenton, Elizabeth Fenton, Clarissa Kimbro, Emmett E. Fenton, Keith Fenton, Homer Fenton, Horace I. Fenton, Robert R. Fenton, Melva Coyle, and Elvin Fenton.

    VISITATION:  Friday, February 5, 2010 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Meridith Funeral Home in Pocahontas, IL and Saturday from 9-00 – 11:00 at the First United Methodist Church – Annex Building – Pocahontas, IL.

    FUNERAL:  Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church – Annex Building – Pocahontas, IL with Rev. Dave Trover, officiating.   Burial in Robinson Cemetery, Pocahontas, IL.

    MEMORIALS:  1st. United Methodist Church; Robinson Cemetery; Hospice Foundation of Bond County.
